AUTOMOTIVE GRADE FLOATING BOARD-TO-BOARD CONNECTORS

With increasing complexity of Automotive Infotainment System signal usage, both signal performance and physical endurance requirements for internal Board-to-Board connectors are also on the rise. When operating under vehicular environment, connector products often face challenge of surviving the disconnection issue caused by constant impact and vibration. In addition, as Infotainment Systems evolve into more compact and complex designs, the demand of combining both Signal and Power connection under a single interconnect solution have become ever more prevalent.

In order to meet both of the above demands for next generation Automotive grade Board-to-Board application, Yamaichi Electronics has developed its HF301 series to satisfy both hybrid connectivity and mechanical performance demands. HF301 series is built in with special floating connector structure that allows mating position tolerance to maintain secured connection while vehicle is in operation. Furthermore, its contact structure is consisted with 100 signal pins + 4 power pins and can handle up to 8 Gbps high-speed transmission.
