DSFP56-112G CONNECTORS

Designed to support 5G Mobile application technologies, DSFP is one of the latest high speed interconnect products developed to meet the ever-growing demand of speed, bandwidth, and signal reliability of Telecommunication market.

As one of the founding members of DSFP MSA, Yamaichi has developed its CN109S Series DSFP connector to support this new form factor and it is 100% compliant to DSFP MSA design guidelines. It has two TX/RX high speed pin pairs, and is capable of 28Gbps (NRZ) or 56Gbbs (PAM4) bit rate/per lane transmission. While maintaining at same mechanical size with SFP28/SFP56, CN109S DSFP connector doubles signal density and has the potential to support up to 112 Gbps/per lane and aggregated speed of 224 Gbps via PAM4. 

DSFP form factor has identical outline dimensions with current SFP hardware. Therefore it is compatible with current SFP cage accessories sold in the market. Its market applications are targeting 5G Network tower equipment (RRU, BBU), switches and routers, and storage servers.
